Our Horses

Spartan (Sparty Pants) is my frieson I brought with me from the uk in 2003 he is my pride and joy and every moment of owning him has been a pleasure for me, he is mostly a nice relaxing ride out but can gallop when the mood takes him, in my eyes he is perfection and if I never own another horse again he has been my ultimate horse!!

Luna (loo na doo) grey andalucian mare was bought locally when we decided to start more riding and trekking, she was quite badly treated, with no name, fleas ticks worms and ridden in very severe bit with a cerate metal nose band, after initially reschooling her she is a wonderful ride out forward going but never too much she tries to please and I would like to think she has thrived whilst living with me.

Chico (Cheeky Chico) dark bay gelding very good for work in the school and usually fastest pace a rocking horse canter he's best friends with Red as they were bought together and are a similar age, also broken here, he likes port too as help us celibrate the opening of our new stable block

Beetle (Beets) Dartmoor he also came with me from the uk and is a star of a pony he was originally bought for my son when he was 18mnths old (my son that is) and over the years I've had him has helped fire the obsession in many a budding horse enthusiast
Red (Redadare) bright bay lovely vaquero type gelding he was backed and broken here is a lovely gallop!!! Jumps well and is a sensitive soul, I think he looks a little like a polo pony and as he is now rising six is really starting to come into his own

Star, star is a beautiful Andalucian mare grey with a dark mane and tail, she was a gift to me recently by somebody who wanted her to have a good home, and is proving a honest willing worker, just need her to walk a little slower!! Which will come with time and patience?

Canella (Cinnamon) (Nella ) A very individual mare to say the least!!! She likes to wander freely around our land as has never really stabled by her previous owners so don't be surprised as you arrive to have her greet your car!!! She's not a novice ride and very forward going (but always stops) likes to jump and paseo epanol! But walks like the slowest mule in the world when needed to be used to lead rein
