Changeover
day
As flight times vary, change over days and arrival times are flexible. Wherever
possible we will try to accomodate your needs.

Bedrooms: |
Bedroom 1 with Kingsize Bed. Bedroom 2 with Double Bed. Bedroom 3 with Twin Beds. Bedroom 4 with Twin Beds - is on an open-plan landing. Bedroom 5 with Bunk Beds - adjoins the double room. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are probably more suitable for children. |
Bathrooms: |
Downstairs Bathroom with Sink, W.C, and large walk-in Shower.
Door to patio with external Shower. A second bathroom is planned
for this year. |
Kitchen: |
Luxury fitted Kitchen complete with Double Sink and Granite
work top. Appliances include Cooker with Gas Hob and Oven,
Fridge/ Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave and Washing Machine. |
Living Rooms: |
Open-plan Lounge / Dining Room with traditional wooden staircase
to first floor. Original beams and open fireplace with wood
burning stove. 2 large Sofas, Satellite TV and DVD player.
Large Dining table seating 8 comfortably. Front door to patio
and pool. |
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Clean Linen and Towels provided on arrival. Washing Machine
available. |
Notes
on accommodation
The Farmhouse is fully Centrally Heated. Air Conditioning is
not necessary as the Farmhouse's 2 ft thick walls keep the
interior cool even in the summer months. However, fans are
provided in each bedroom. The patio is all on one level so
is ideal for children - plenty of room to run and explore
the countryside.

Outside
Area
There is a fantastic 'floodlit' Private Pool ( 8m x 4.5m ) with
tiled steps down in to shallow end (1m depth) to maximum
depth of approx. 2.2m. Large Patio area with six sun loungers
with cushions, Patio table and chairs, Parasol, Gas Barbeque
and a range of childrens toys and inflatables. The Pool is
not heated and is very pleasant between the months of April
and October.
Coast
& Beach
If you fancy a trip to the coast, Malaga is approx 1hr from Illora. Marbella
with its trendy shops, bars and sandy beach is approx. 90 mins and Almeria,
on the East coast is approx 90 mins from Illora.
Travel
Granada Airport is approx. 30 mins drive from 'Fuente La Zarza' and is served
by Ryanair from London Stansted and Liverpool and by Monarch from London
Gatwick. Easyjet also fly to Malaga Airport. Car hire is available at the
airports or on-line. We recommend 'Carjet' (Crown Car Hire).
Distances
Cortijo Fuente La Zarza is the ideal location from which to discover Andalucia.
The town of Illora is 10 mins drive away. Montefrio is 15 mins drive. Granada
and the Alhambra Palace is 30 mins away. Loja is 35 mins drive. Alcala la
Real, a large town, good for shopping is 30 mins away. Seville and Cordoba,
both large cities are approx 2 hrs drive from Illora.
Further
Details
There are plenty of local supermarkets and restaurants serving typical Spanish
fayre and Barbeques. Full details of amenities, directions, operating instructions
and a map of Illora will be supplied. The Spanish locals are most welcoming
and friendly. This is the real Spain!
Booking
Notes
Full payment is required if booking less than 6 weeks in advance. Otherwise
a 25% deposit is required with the remainder payable 6 weeks in advance.
A 250 Euro refundable security deposit is payable on arrival.
